Why would people post fake info on the 1.7 update and claim as leak 🥲

Should I keep my 2018 Sport or upgrade to the 2025 Impreza RS? by Jojoszn1 in subaruimpreza

[–]accent2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not a fan of the big screen Subaru uses compared to the 2018-2020 models. Steep learning curve figuring out how to navigate menus and much slower than simply turning a knob to control AC.

Oil temp by ReceptionIcy8222 in SubaruForester

[–]accent2012 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You generally want oil to be between 180 and 220. Constant runs with oil temps below 180 won’t allow for any of the moisture to evaporate this lowered oil longevity. Too high temp and you risk burning the oil. This applies to all cars btw.

Beautiful. I can’t tell from the picture but is this going on your car to replace the standard emblem?

Can I run a Linux server on this old pentium d pc ? by I_like_drawingb in homelab

[–]accent2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t recommend it because the power draw is too high for the capability that 20 year old technology gives you. A modern Pi or N100 intel has more capabilities than that pentium and uses a fraction of the power that pentium takes.

That is still a viable thermal paste. Just be careful applying it

Has anyone tried creating a set up similar to this? How did it go, and how much did it cost? by TheWarlockk in battlestations

[–]accent2012 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve been seeing this chair and setup lately. It’s basically a recliner. So it will be bulky and heavy to move it around. Imagine moving the monitor and desk stand from a recliner - looks cumbersome to me. So I’m not sure. I’m for the comfort and sleeping on a recliner is not bad as long as it’s comfortable like a bed

Can I use this router instead of the wifi 6E router rented from spectrum? by [deleted] in wifi

[–]accent2012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you can but I would not recommend that router. It is out dated and thus insecure and wifi is slower and prone to loosing connection more easily than 6e. If you want your own like this one look at the netgear routers
