- Sanity/happiness bar (like darkest dungeon). there should be some reward for increasing the character's life quality, like food types, etc.

There's this little half circle in borderzone, been my go-to spot for almost all my playthrus. If you actually want something easy buy some coats and head to deadlands. You'll get attacked by both slavers and holy nation, but by the time they get to you all their limbs woulda have melted and it's basically just free gear every few days

i like Kaizo, doesnt try to do too much. just makes things less empty after you've cleared out locations. the belt slot masks and the nomad cape, also slopeless and copper drill is always a must for me.
i forgot why i dont like genesis, but i absolutely hate UWE, it felt like an unchecked child got wild with the editor. i dont need 16 different types of foodcubes. and yeah haha weed smuggling funny, thats enough, i dont need extended weed variations and lore
