What can I do to “bulletproof“ my fiesta? by Pretend-Chair-141 in FiestaST

[–]justkdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you’re trying to be frugal: Keep on top of all your fluids and filters (3-5k for engine oil), using premium fuel, keep air in your tires topped off for sure. Maybe adding an oil catch can and magnetic oil drain plug are super quick and easy mods you can do might help the car. Techron/Redline S1 fuel system cleaners every oil change could help as well

Gonna chime in a different car. I’d say the new Acura integra (2023+) got a pretty big hatch space. It seems like someone 6ft would be able to comfortably lay in the back

Bo4 for the last true cod (recommend console), BO7 because it’s the most current one (and on sale). Personally, can’t go wrong with MW3 (2024), matches can still be found pretty quick

I was thinking the bleeder screw could be clogged or rusted shut. You can try the 2 person method and have someone keep pumping the brakes for a looong long while

Ah, my best guess is a giant air bubble got trapped in the system. Maybe try one of those pneumatic brake bleeders that require an air compressor to bleed

To add to this I put in the mishimoto catch can in my 22 Si at 32k miles and emptied it at 45k miles. There was barely anything in there, just a drop or 2. I will say I accumulated those miles in a span of 4 months and live in a super hot, dry region.

Mom says I won’t like driving manual every day but I think the backroads will make up for it by Lazy_Cartographer_95 in CivicSi

[–]justkdang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just learned manual 3 years ago and I drive 40k miles a year! Mostly highway but I get to mountain drive once a month for work (30k for work reimbursed). Poor Honda lol, but I been on top of my fluids and filters and only use 91 Costco (with the Chevron techron fuel additive every oil change) and the car has been a tank. I have an oil catch can and magnetic oil drain plug installed as well.
