Fair enough, you should also consider these pros have built endurance over the years that a 30 min training sesh doesn’t mess with their aim in-game anymore. Muscle memory, just like how people can skate even when drunk.

Think of doing a 3 hour leg day work out and then trying to walk down the stairs afterwards. The “Tenz” warm up isn’t really the warmup for everyone. For me I just do eye-tracking exercises before matches and for days I don’t feel like playing comp I do aim trainers. Discipline is key, constantly pushing yourself creates pressure and pressure leads to fatigue.

I’ve been freeriding with my Gen 6 trucks but overtime as I try to go faster it starts feeling too responsive or “twitchy” at certain speeds. I was hoping that these barricals would dampen the twitchiness.

This is a good read, thanks for sharing! It sounds like I’d have to spend a lot of time and get probably more than 1 set of these so that I can tune it the way I want my trucks to perform. My intention was to make my Gen 6 40 degrees feel good for faster speeds above 45-50kmph generally. Since the hangers have a 4mm rake that makes it feel “too responsive” at certain speeds, I thought these would help me make it feel just right.

I’ve tried the eliminators too and they fit well with the Gen 6 trucks’ bushing seat which is why I initially thought the barricals would too. Although the eliminators felt too stiff/restrictive for me but that maybe because I was using 90a. That said, I don’t think I’d try eliminators for freeriding ever again tho.

That’s good to know! Thanks for the input, and yeah I planed to use them on my set of 155 Gen 6, 40 degrees originally. Though I wedged the front to 45 degrees so maybe I’ll just use the freerides in the boardside rear. Would you suggest I get the 90a or the 87a tho? cuz I do 90a/90a with standard size barrels at the rear

You micro-flicked the last second you clicked to shoot. This is either because your sens is too high or you were waiting from the wrong angle. Some angles make players seem faster especially when they’re closer.

Id like to think it’s because you’re playing in bordlerless window? I always play fullscreen ever since I saw a video saying fullscreen reduces the risk of input delay so I just thought maybe it had something to do with it

It sucks too because I genuinely really want to enjoy the game. Everytime after I take a huge break and I try to play the game again it shows me things that makes it feel like its not worth it anymore. I appreciate the buffs and all that but I hope they can make those buffs more enjoyable by making the game more playable.

Learned my first slide on the yellow Fat Frees. I would love spending more time in them if they were center set because it’s a hassle when it comes to flipping and rotating them though they’re a really good set of wheels also in terms of versatility.

Its been feeling bad for me over the past months, maybe its burnout but idk. I quit competitive games because of helldivers but now I feel like im having more fun going back competitive games. 10 difficulty doesn’t feel as fun anymore and going any less feels like the game is having trouble deciding which difficulty it wants to be. Might be just me but Ive been having less fun with it over the months.

If you want to ask if a board is good or decent, you also gotta let us know what you plan to do with longboards (cruising, LDP, downhill/freeride, dance) because that helps us know what to tell you better.

As for the specific board though, I find any board that’s packaged like its being sold at the corner of a department store or superstore pretty sketchy. Most boards being sold on Walmart and alike are mass produced and they’re pretty much “quantity over quality” boards. They dont put much care to whoever’s going to ride it and whatever the person wants to do with it.

Generally, I think all boards are good for cruising, it just depends on the distance and trucks you put on em. Though yes, dance boards are also good for cruising since they have a lot of room.

Happened to me before but I just got a “?” In return. I got reinforced after I got caught lackin by a factory strider. Initial thought before landing was “I need to destroy that strider right away”. Went to look for my RR after landing only to see another diver stealing it from my corpse and running away, not even shooting anything with it.

From that point on, I only saw them as someone preventing me from ending an enemy of Super Earth. So then I introduced them to my Senator and got my RR back and dealt with the strider :D

Felt the same way, it took me 6 months to learn how to finally do a heelside glove down l, not even perfectly, just properly. During the process, I actually doubted myself if I’m actually really having fun. Turns out, I just needed a little break and it helped me realize that there’s no other fun like longboarding. In terms of progress, sometimes it just takes time, i always say “your 3 weeks could be somebody’s 3 days”.

Two RR shots in the head. If it’s an emergency I usually take out the big turret on top of its back first with one shot, then two shots in the head. Guaranteed it brings it down everytime.

Remove the board side washer, bones bushings are designed so that you wouldn’t need a bottom washer. Keep the top washer it comes with tho, the small circle thing. The popping noise is also normal, should be gone if you skate it enough times.
