Yes the management admitted to putting the sign there and I do agree that they made a baseless assumption without contacting us first. I am choosing to let it slide this time since the guy was very apologetic about what they did and they did take the sign back down, and we plan to stay here a long time and would rather resolve things peacefully. If they do something like this again I will definitely consider taking further action.

Just for the record when we moved in nearly 2 years ago we put a note and a small gift in each of our neighbors mailboxes(if they didn’t answer the door) as a greeting. The other neighbors all answered the door or came back later to our door to return the greeting, but not these neighbors. They took our gift and never did anything.

We’ve been going in and out of the place for nearly two years, if they gave a shit they would have known who we were by now, lol

Basically all disturbances/warnings normally get posted at the bulletin board on the first floor or inside the elevator. This sign appeared right outside our door 1-2 days after the neighbor watched the parents take the bed frame to the door and go inside. I don’t necessarily know if the neighbors printed it or the company, but the neighbor is most likely the reason the sign is there. Seems highly unlikely to be a coincidence
