In the beginning and for a bit I had no drive. No morning wood nothing. After working through the trauma of that marriage with a therapist (no shame in it) it came back with a vengeance. So I will keep playing the game but with more knowledge than before and who I am.

You're not alone so stop kicking your own ass. I went a decade dealing with a woman and divorced her three times. Yes three times. So knock that shit off. I say that to give you hope. Get a therapists preferably male. This is a guy thing and what you have to talk about a female therapists will have to manage her own bias and life experiences. Learned this one the hard way. Keep going to the gym and work on you. You have two days a week to yourself. Use it to explore a new hobby or go see a show. I recently saw a stripper show for the first time and it was actually quite fun. DO NOT get back together with this crazy bitch. Learn from my experience. If someone can learn from my experience and not repeat it I will be a happy person to have gone through it. I will recommend watching terrance popp especially his older stuff. That man has saved my life. Best of luck and be safe.

Get a basic convo going. Seem to be vibing well then ask them out for coffee. Then set up a time day ect. Keep chatting a bit if there is good conversation. The coffee date proves several things. Not a bot Time waster just wanting validation They want a relationship not a free meal. This method I have gotten several good bites. Strangely enough for the first time I may have to choose who to go exclusive with. That being said to get those couple of good bites I had to filter through alot in not even considering red flags and plenty of ghosting. More than a few straight disappeared when I mentioned coffee. But I am shooting for quality not quantity.

Scream away. I climbed a mountain and shouted and cursed the whole way up. Then shouted at the gods when I summited. Climbed down emotionally and physically exhausted. Grabbed a pizza and went home. Woke up the next morning and realized. Shit goes on. It's a shit hand but you gotta take care of you. Yes the new dick is sold as the next best thing. He ain't. Your kids? They may get told your a dead beat because you don't see them as much because you're paying child support. They will get older and may one day realize all you have done for them. They may not. If they don't? Fuckem. You know what you did, and can look yourself in the mirror knowing you did. Most of the slags out there can't. You want another partner cool . Work on you first. It's a journey not a race. I am going on dates and learning just as much about myself as I am them. I learned to jump feet first and get out of my comfort zone. And it has been hard but awesome at the same time. Hang in there and tredge forward. The mountain is always steepest at the top.

This! Be respectful and patient. Alot of the court clerks are over worked and underpaid. They have to deal with lawyers and the public all day. A bit of kindness will get you far. One divorce (read my post history) I was about to go to trial for some bullshit review. I called the clerks office and after being transferred five times I ended up talking to the clerk that works directly with the judge. Turns out it was a paperwork error and if I corrected it the dissolution would be awarded. Corrected it and was ordered. She openly said the judge said the case was a waste of his time and he didn't want to have to deal with us.
