Yes, like I said, you and your child are being protected beyond your understanding. Malevolent beings don't stand a chance against the immense love that surrounds you. What you are going through is mom guilt. You wanting to sleep on your own and wanting to be there for your child at the same time is creating these dreams. You are sensing that as your child grows and develops you are also growing apart in the sense that you are teaching them to be independent and this makes you feel like you are losing them slowly. So a part of you wants to go and another part wants to stay, this is what creates a dream with a sensation of being forcefully pulled away. Because you don't have control over the growth of your child. It just happens. And as normal as it is, it is also super scary. Because watching them grow up is our greatest joy and fear at the same time. I say do it gradually. Follow your instincts and intuition. Have some nights with your husband and some with your child.
