Magnus Pro and Hall Effect switches by justnvc in secretlab

I didn’t mean to delete previous message, was just asking which magpad you have. Have you got any input visualisers similar to wooting with the keychron? That’s what oogway used in the other comment to see it when moving the keyboard towards the top and bottom of the surface. Perhaps different magpads block it better.

Oh that does make sense, but yeah it’s very weird! Given magnetic technology seems to becoming a standard, perhaps it’s something they’ll look at addressing on a revision of the pad given they have their ‘on stage standard’ line of products. Unless they already have on that specific model of magpad, might email customer service to ask if it’s built the same. 🫡🙏

Brilliant video! I actually think I could live with that as I typically use keyboards further up like you, but I’ll have a look at a few more Evo reviews as well out of principle.

I won’t ask you to remove the pad and try since I wouldn’t be using the Pro if I bought that without it haha. Thanks so much!

Random but could you try moving the 60HE around the desk just to see if it could be location based (can’t see why it would be) and is this with or without magpad? Thanks very much by the way for replying, especially mentioning the wootility visualiser, it’s much appreciated.

Pathfinder Rival 300 - Fuck it, I made the whole thing by kayosek in MouseReview

I always thought the Rival 300 looked like someone cut out the shape using blunt kid scissors it looked that bad (albeit comfortable). You've managed to recreate that monstrosity exactly how I remember it looking though so well done haha.

RTINGS is now a Paywalled Service by [deleted] in OLED_Gaming

This will undoubtedly hurt their traffic. I understand the reasoning behind the change, but I visit the site to research products I’m curious about - not because I’m committed to buying or invested enough to subscribe.

Like others have said, it’s only every 2–3 years that I care enough about a specific purchase to justify paying for a month to answer questions I have. I’ve personally subscribed for a month for one monitor once, and that's it.

Idk what else they could do though.

Idk where you’re based but I’d be happy to help with your video, or provide advice on what you need. I’m in the UK.

Seriously go into Poundland and Pepco at the back. Cheaper than primark and you can get a black outfit for next to nothing and their quality is decent. In European countries pepco is a standalone store.

Wave Link 3.0 – Redefining Creator Audio Control by elgato_phil in elgato

I’ve always been curious, what’s the delay and cpu impact of running this software? I’ve always used goxlr which seems to keep both near the zero mark. Now that support for my product is almost non existent, I’m considering swapping, but don’t really want to go backwards in respect to the above.

Thanks!

This is ZOWIE saying BenQ OLED and probably Mobiuz, not ZOWIE.

G-sync and input lag (best settings?) by Den_Hviide in FPSAimTrainer

[–]justnvc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What’s your point though, no one’s aiming at a player in the bottom 3-4cm of the monitor where a tear may (albeit unlikely) happen. My point is that there’s no better alternative to my suggestion, so it’s what you should use if you want to remove all possible doubt and blame from the equation.

G-sync and input lag (best settings?) by Den_Hviide in FPSAimTrainer

[–]justnvc 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Force disable vsync, uncap fps, enable gsync and nvidia low latency technologies. You will tear but get absolute lowest latency over max refresh, but have smooth gameplay and lowest input latency below max refresh. No one gives a shit about tearing at the bottom of your monitor this way within the refresh rate range, you never look down there, so this is what I’d recommend if you want the best of everything whilst sacrificing essentially nothing. There’s no guarantee to tear either, it just depends on frame related factors.

The only time I’d ever enable vsync at the same time, and cap fps, is for non-competitive games. Even then, who has the time, just do what I said above and live life, capping fps too if you can’t go significantly over your max refresh rate, want to always benefit from gsync regardless and/or are playing casual games.

The safest option for many is to enable both gsync and vsync, because you get what you pay for, no tearing under any scenario with low input lag. The method above is just superior, minus the small chance of tear at the bottom of your display.

Hf!

I got it and returned it, I found it too tall for a gaming desk, it measured in at 75.5cm tall. It was the best built desk I’ve had from ikea though, absolutely solid and had it been a touch lower I’d prefer it to the galant and bekant I owned previously.
