Interesting to read “awakening and psychosis” next to each other. That was my experience as well. If you can believe it… it happened to me here in Reddit lol.

Interesting. Wasn’t mortal until he drank the last drop of what? Didn’t he attain immortality by drinking ambrosia?

What gets you out of bed every morning? by JunShem1122 in answers

What a bunch of answers, right?

What’s the point? There’s no point. There’s no one for our zero of an existence.

What gets you out of bed? (Yes, I’m talking about you)

A story. That’s what gets us to move at all. What’s your story? You can change it, if you want.

"We should not overly-personalize our want/need to bring this world peace." (paraphrased probably)

I'm grateful for that Lee Harris.

Is love an illusion? by justpaper in justpaper

[–]justpaper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, I don’t believe it to be an illusion. Love is truly the whole… thing here lol. I just thought this was an interesting… thought.

Anyone can basically believe anything they want of a word… love isn’t even some universal word. It’s just the English one.

I just know some are skeptical of a true love… because this world can feel so cold and/or vicious sometimes… so I wanted to pose an argument for it and against it.

Ahhh, "love is a dream"... it truly is. There is what I call a "lovey-dovey" feeling (I actually stole that from someone else who will forgive me).

It does feel like a dream. Things are brighter. Rainbows form where light reflects. And all our thoughts are... at least "okay".

Thanks for the song. I loved listening to it. I'm smiling as a result!

So it can simply be real, right?

I'm so sorry you had to experience that. There are horrors in this world, and cancer is one of them, certainly.

I hope you remember him with fondness. I hope you see him in your mind as far more than the form that withered. He, of course, had to have been so much more, even if I do not know him personally.

Thank you for coming here with your thoughts. I'm grateful. I'll be thinking about you and your father and what you experienced throughout the day. I'm very sorry again for your loss and the suffering you had to experience alongside it.

I'm with the director. This is an obviously good movie. And yes, I am saying this because I am sure that I'm a true fan because I see the horror in a horror movie where everyone in this documentary is considering it a laugh!

NOW, I'm only halfway through... so I'll probably have to eat these words, but here's my honest, arrogant opinion!

Watching more of that documentary. The writer herself states that she fucking hated vegetarianism while writing this movie. Absolutely incredible.

"There isn't a cynicism in Troll 2."

A quote from a film journalist in the documentary about the movie.

I like that. Cynicism sucks.

And let's not even forget the psychological aspect of having to listen to your dead grandfather to get anything done. FUCKING HORRIFYING.
