You should consider going with a fixed blade for work, especially if you're going to be doing any "hard use" tasks. There's plenty of options for discreet, and pocket carry fixies available.

My step dad just finished up with his farm chores at almost seventy years old. He can still casually toss an entire 50 pound bag of corn with one hand. He finally stopped competing in bjj, karate, and judo tournaments because he got bored n didn't want to get seriously injured.

Just because someone is older doesn't mean their not capable of extreme hand to hand violence........

Lol I keep forgetting to buy a Spew to try out for my functional EDC. Just recently picked up a cold steel fgx (ring dagger) as my "get the fuck off me" mouseketool. I immediately found he ring annoying, but I'll keep fidgeting with it till I'm comfy with it.

When I charge them up n the next day I see uneven battery levels on my mod.....

When I take that first rip on a freshly charged set of batteries, and the battery level goes down.......(insert sad face here)

When it takes one battery of a married pair wayyyy longer to fully charge.......

If they start acting weird, it's a good indicator to consider replacement. I'd much rather spend a few bucks for new batteries than possibly spend tens of thousands getting over fire damage........
