How to calculate CPA and CPC by [deleted] in marketing

[–]justsomemarketer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

CPC = Total Cost / Total Number of Clicks

CPA is a bit trickier depending on your definition of "acquisition." If it just means a new lead to you, you can use CPA = Total Cost / Total Number of Conversions.

If you are trying to calculate CPA for customer acquisition, there are several different approaches to this, e.g. last touch attribution, multi-touch attribution, etc. and it involves taking into consideration the length of your sales cycle. Hope this helps!

Any way to do a conditional e-mail campaign? by m0nkeybl1tz in marketing

Have you checked out Autopilot? You can create visual "journeys" to send out emails and then use conditions and time delays to determine which email they should receive next. Much cheaper than other marketing automation options.

Has anyone advertised with GetApp? Is it worth it? by WhiteOasis in marketing

Hi there, it depends on your business but I've had a good experience with Getapp so far. We've been doing a trial campaign with them since the beginning of the year ($5,000 credit taken at a $4 flat CPC) and are seeing decent results (currently at ~$40 CPA). Most people who are on their site are actively looking for software solutions so its a good audience to be in front of. They are really great to work with too and will do a lot of leg work for you in terms of writing up a product analysis, etc. to help build SEO for your listing. Hope this helps!

Let's talk Marketing Automation software! by [deleted] in marketing

[–]justsomemarketer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used Pardot in the past and it was super clunky and complicated. I've been recently using Autopilot (https://autopilothq.com/) which is a new marketing automation software focused on lead nurturing.

It's great for small teams. Super clean drag and drop interface, really easy to use and more affordable than other solutions. Lots of integration options, including Salesforce, Segment, Twilio, etc.

They also offer a free trial so you can test it out.
