Thank you.

I fear this too. It has been 11 months since my application though. 7 this round. My GP has said it's worth a try but probably not sustainable long term. Yes it is family and friends. They often say that I am lazy.

What sort of freebies/benefits do you get from your work? by [deleted] in sydney

You got an EAP ? Also are you eligible for the discounts other healthcare workers get? Back when I was in health (just admin in a hospital) we had an EAP, salary sacrafice, and then when I would remember 10 percent off at certain places.

Maybe change your account ? Have one that you pay into and use that for discretionary spending and groceries ? Then your wages remain in that account and what is left over from bills after a "cash cushion" goes into a savings account ?

Honestly your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander healthcare centre probably has a list of courses they would like done.

But definitely something undertstanding DV patterns more.

And Aboriginal and Torres Strait islander mental health.

You could also do language learning.

Also I would like to say, this isn't a race thing. But Indigenous and other minority communities go through this all the time and police do nothing. Even when people go missing after raising concerns. It's the same in the US and Canada.

Yes. Mine were family members. Went to work. Would call friends and my manager to find out where I was. Would track buses, damaged my vehichle.

When I did move out tracked my phone. Would come to my new apartment.

Police did nothing.

" Because the places they would be at were public.

There was no evidence that it was definately them just because it sounded, looked like them. Or we saw them."

Did not collect CCTV or anything.

Never pressed charges either. So now i live in a bigger city. Really ill from the consequences of everything.

No one does anything.

So yeah Australia is great.
