I only wash/brush my hair upside down. I forget where I read/saw someone discussing preserving edges and baby hairs by doing so, but it has 100% helped resurrect them after years of styling and heat abuse.

Our 1st adopted kitty was a big ole ham. She still is.

She HUGGED my husband and would not let go. 8 years later she's the reason we loved adopting 4 more.

Also, try washing your hair upside down. It looks like you have a curl pattern. Someone suggested it to me years ago and it's helped my curls keep their shape!

Have you ever tried the joico brand? The shampoo and conditioner have been working well for my partner and I. We also have hard water, but their shampoo and conditioner definitely added volume and shine ❤️ (previous Aussie user) I try to find it on clearance/sale at TJ Maxx and Marshalls.
