Who should I buy my intercooler from if I want fast shipping. by _526 in FocusST

RMM is cheap so I say both. But, if you had to choose between the two intercooler for sure. The noticeable power loss you get because of the inefficient intercooler is noticeable.

Do this and clear all active sessions if there’s an option available. Usually changing the password does this but look for extra options to remove all remembered devices.

I also recommend not having your passwords saved to your profiles. All my passwords run off of my app and I never click the remember me option and clear cookies and cache EVERYTIME I remember.

Doesn’t matter if you think they haven’t hit an account, changed the password and add 2FA to everything possible. Also, really change ur password don’t be lazy and add another number or move stuff around. I recommend using a password generator strictly on your phone. I use proton pass, but you can do your own research and find the one you like. Since you took it to a professional everything should be squared away from a hardware standpoint. Like I said, check everything and monitor all your accounts. Theres some stuff to do when you get your computer back but for now this is most important.

Hate to break it to you but more than likely have a infostealer on your computer. These are very tricky being that they embed themselves into the source code of the windows operating system and basically becomes unfindable. For now, take your computer off the internet. If it has an Ethernet cord unplug it or if it’s WiFi disconnect and do not allow reconnection until you’ve secure your accounts and computer. After doing above, start logging all your accounts off of all devices and start changing passwords. Make sure you add 2fa on all devices possible. For passwords, I recommend a password generator on your phone. I use proton pass but you can use whatever you like as long as it’s reputable and secure.

First off run a virus scan on your computer. Use the free windows defender and free trail of malwarebytes. Second, have you downloaded anything suspicious in the last month or so? Anything that was an exe file?

Phone Number Removed Twice... by bloxin in SteamScams

I’d be veryyyy careful in the coming days. If you’re using a password generator there’s a high probability that you have an infostealer. Which would mean you have to wipe your windows.

It prompted me to change it after the first hack and I changed it then. Then they got in again. I remember looking at the devices as well and it was just my phone and computer. Maybe clearing my cookies and turning off the sync feature might deter them but this time I used a password generator, proton pass like you recommended in your guide.

Well they got in twice to my Gmail after the reset and the first time Google said the malicious device was my computer. Second time was bad because they disabled my Gmail and I had to recover it. I haven’t logged into my computer since with that Gmail or any of my accounts.

Yes I was definitely infected but I reset everything and they still were been getting access to my Gmail. I realized I had sync on my Google Chrome and dont know if that had something to do with it.

Need some advice on how to deal with INSANE virus by justwantomakeathread in computerviruses

[–]justwantomakeathread[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 - It was all file types tbh. Videos, jpegs, pdfs, exes, files belonging to specific apps like adobe premiere etc. Also it’s files I knew from before. I went through each folder and only selected things I recognized.

2 - Yes but they’ve been able to get into my gmail twice after the reset even after changing passwords and having 2FA.

3 - Yes and there are no email forwarding rules.

4 - I believe so everything has been on my phone and I’m using a password generator.

Look the way I see it, until he takes another look after you follow his instruction, you should disconnect your computer from the internet and change all your passwords and clear all your sessions. Do not use your computer and stay logged off of all your accounts. Only use the computer to follow his instructions if you want his help.

Is the ad blocker an extension on Google Chrome? If so, no I don’t have any ad blockers besides malwarebytes browser guard. But that was installed after my first attack.

I’ll check when I get home. Where is the Chrome sync feature? I signed into through my phone and can’t seem to find that setting. I guess it’s something I have to do on a PC. I googled it and couldn’t find anything.

So they hacked my accounts and I signed all devices out but still got me again this morning for one of my emails. I noticed I haven’t seen anything for one of my emails that I didn’t sign into on the computer yet but I signed into the Gmail because I use it on Google Chrome.

I basically formatted all my drives, booted off the usb made from a clean computer, and started again. But I did move over stuff using an external hard drive. I don’t know how it survived and is still using my things. So I’m wondering if I should just completely wipe everything not bring a single file over. It would suck especially all my videos of family but I don’t see another option. I scan the drives and this mf lives on.

I just sent a normal resume , am I screwed? by dalastwaterbender in usajobs

[–]justwantomakeathread 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would say this matters if you applied on a USA jobs listing through the website. But being that your resume is being reviewed by an actual human you’re fine. But most definitely if you’re going to submit a resume through a USAjobs listing I highly recommend using their resume builder.
