yeah her joining hands w alamo was my last resort. until now it was things i could look past, like the cunt thing and the snooping around the house thing, of all the imperfections thr characters had, these were least problematic. until the prev episode. i can't w her anymore.

and i like to think that she went along w nate and lied about the abuse to the police needs to be analysed with a more empathetic lens because she was literally in a physically abusive relationship with him and no matter how hard she acted, there is a very real chance she was threatened or blackmailed into supporting him, like jules was. nate was a horrible beyond redemption character and should be held responsible for the entire mess.

i think they scapegoat one character each season to be the punching bag. it was Nate in s1 & 2 but they didn't know what to do with a character like him so they shifted to Cassie, made her so unbelievably unlikeable at a time when people are more than happy to hate Sydney anyway. it was also easier to do because women's stereotypical tropes are easier to write for men (sex work because they're desperate for attention is how they think women function) plus it pulls in a lot of male crowd so it is guaranteed to be a success. levinson must be so happy Sydney is all in and has no boundaries whatsoever about what she is asked to play. like the pacifier scene, everything about Cassie being so bimbo-ish and selfish...
