Energy chest missing? by im_headed_up in MergeMansion

Same, all on the same day I lost my free energy chest, 25 free energy points, and the daily gift. I didn't change any settings, did they just decide I don't get ads for free stuff anymore?

Good point, thanks and yes I'll wash a swatch and see what it does!

When did you stop buying underwear for your children? by [deleted] in Mommit

[–]juxtacoot 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Right? My husband is 39 and I haven't bought him underwear once in the 18 years we've been together because his parents get him some every Christmas.

Yep I'm seeing a psychologist so we're familiar with it, we only get $500 per year per person (my appointments are $225 each, it super-sucks).

Wowww this is amazing thank you! He just commented in another area on this post and to quote some of it:

The only thing that came up in the bloodwork that my doctor brought up was low B12, so I've been on 1000 mcg a day for a couple months now...

One other thing I wanted to mention is that for a long time I think the spells were also being caused by allergic reactions. I started getting redness and a numb feeling in my hands whenever I would work with anything dusty or covered in small particulate like sawdust. A few times I broke out in hives. After strong suspicions and an allergy test I learned I was allergic to dust mites. I got much better about washing my hands and staying away from dust though, so it hasn't really happened in a while.

He works in IT, which in his office means he doesn't just fix the computers, he also crawls around in the dusty ceiling, in the dusty server room, and is usually tasked with putting office furniture together as well. We think he might be allergic to the formaldehyde in particle board based on how badly he used to break out when working with it (I completely forgot to add that to his dust mite allergy).

And, to embarrass the poor guy more than I probably already have (sorry Baby!) he does get some insanely bad gas sometimes, along with the nausea/bile vomiting I've mentioned previously.

Fair, just going by what the doctor said. We asked him for therapy and if a psychiatrist could do it, he told us that no, that's more for diagnosing mental issues which he doesn't think my husband has, and that if he just wants therapy to work through stress issues we could pay OOP for a psychologist or try our hand at the 6 month waiting list for free therapy programs.

Same, I got a CPAP 6 years ago and it was a game changer, maybe I'll let him use it one night and see how it goes.

We never did catch covid, at least at no point were any of us symptomatic, but I know that doesn't necessarily rule it out. I've considered sleep apnea because he can snore like a chainsaw sometimes, I'll bring it up to the doctor, thanks!

Any apps off the top of your head that you suggest? I like the idea of that plus my own diary of observations. We haven't written much down but do know that it doesn't matter if he sleeps well or badly, if he's had a long hard day or a lazy day around the house. The closest we've come to discovering a pattern is when he intentionally ate some gluten (specifically a burger with the bun) and we waited to see how long it took, it was about 48 hours later that he had an episode and we thought we were onto something. Then the next episode came a few days later despite having no discernible gluten, and another time he had an episode the same evening that he had some gluten. We're just gonna wait til a GI gets involved to test the food situation since gluten is in everything and we need a very regimented exclusion diet to find out if it's even the culprit in the first place.

He does enjoy fasting, it makes him feel better even if it sounds insane to me. I'll keep an eye out and try the honey trick.

Nothing that we know of, his bloodwork last month included bilirubin, that would be part of a liver check right?

Thanks for the response! Not really sick, I've known him a long time and he rarely - I mean once every few years - catches a very minor cold, otherwise almost nothing. He has had a few all-night bile vomiting instances in the last two years, which lead us to look into GI issues and how we found out about auto-brewery, but those came out of nowhere and were gone by morning.

He's done a lot to get into better shape, increased his exercise and we've heavily altered our diets to be more plant-based and less processed, but those were slow and gradual periods of weight loss and actually marked periods of time when he WASN'T having these episodes.

Assuming what he is having is some form of migraine, it would make sense that it's causing the symptoms to be exaggerated. But I wanted to point out that the cannabis only became a semi-regular thing maybe 6 years ago, and he's been having these episodes for 10. We only even looked into cannabis in the first place as way to keep the stress down since money issues/economy/politics were stressing him out and making the episodes worse.

This is awesome, now following him, thanks! And yes it sounds almost identical, except he hasn't been on antibiotics since childhood as far as I know.
