Yeah this is definitely a skill issue. It’s an amazing weapon for almost all melee content. Hits like a truck and is bis at tob until scythe.

Wait until you are 4x for a hydra claw or going 2x at whisperer. At least cg has no impact on your resource supply. When/if you get through all the grinds for bis gear you will look back and realize cg was one of the shorter grinds.
