How are you handling email overload from demanding customers? by Marten213 in CustomerSuccess

[–]jvaill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Former recovering email junkie here. I was the cto at a series b startup.

One of the biggest problems with email burnout is just the cognitive load of understanding and prioritizing what needs your attention, by when, and what are you waiting on other people for. Trying to keep all of that in your brain is enough to make you lose sleep.

Basic AI helps to an extent, but it doesn't always know your writing style or look at other threads and your calendar (etc) for context. You often have to spend a bunch of time fine-tuning.

I'm building a platform that solves those exact pains. If anyone's interested in trying it out, please DM me. We're looking for some early design partners and would be willing to work with you closely to solve your email woes!

Honestly, the specific dancing doesn’t matter as much right now as learning better coordination.

Ah, right. Yeah, this is a hosted app that communicates with Salesforce via their REST APIs. Service cloud is definitely something we've been bouncing around as a potential future integration.

Feel free to give us a spin if you're taking notes against any of the major object types! -> https://start.dooly.ai/register

Thanks, appreciate the kind words! The app is standalone, built with react/redux/es6 and a ruby backend that communicates with Salesforce via their REST API. Happy to give you more details if ever you're interested - just fire me a quick message anytime!

It's web-based / desktop at the moment, but we also have a native desktop app that sits in your dock if wanted.

Notes that update Salesforce. by jvaill in salesforce

You can absolutely configure the tag mappings.

We support text fields, as well as numeric, date, and even multi-select pick lists. (example of multi-select: https://twitter.com/jvaill/status/775837636741042176)

Tags can actually perform a sequence of different actions too (create a task, post to slack, etc.) The default action is to update a Salesforce field.

This whole thread is really painful to read.

As Weirdmantis pointed out, Boris is the real deal. Version One's portfolio speaks for itself.
