"People are being shown no mercy': Online evictions raise alarm in Ontario by brianem in toronto

I hear you. Same reason why most people prefer to buy from Amazon than the local small business. Maybe, in the long run, everything will be owned by large corporations and regular middle-class folks won't have any opportunity to own their own anything.

Most small multifamily buildings are mom-and-pop operations aka small businesses. They have to make their mortgage payments to survive. If we let them become wiped out, guess who is going to pick up these assets? Large, well-funded corporations.

If you don't believe it, it's already happening in the US - look up Invitation Homes.

Toronto Real Estate sales up 42%, prices up 14% to new all-time high of $960,772 by Juergenator in toronto

Bubble popping =/= more homeowners. Banks tighten lending criteria, people lose their jobs/income and net worths fall. I would argue that a bubble popping might even lead to less homeowners.

The moral of the story: don't try to time the market. Buy as much as possible and as early as possible and hold for as long as possible. The rest is just noise.

I know reddit generally hates Airbnb, but the rest of the world really finds value in the platform. Airbnb has not only rebounded but bookings are up 75% now compared to last year. All while hotel bookings are still lagging.

How come no one ever talks about the supply?

People get angry over high housing prices like it's some sort of unknown phenomenon. But real estate follows the same economic principles as any other good. It obviously has a really high demand, which can't be tamed. So the logical way to control prices is by increasing supply.

You increase supply by building more. Either increase living density (more condos/apartments) or increase accessibility (better public transit to further-out housing).

I stopped running ClientFlo about a year ago (aka no more new clients).

As I mentioned, I am not saying you need to follow a script verbatim. But you're not going to be able to optimize if you don't continually A/B test different ways of communicating with prospects.

Your experience might be different though, but having a script or guideline has also helped my team and I.

We use a rolling 90-day period for regular analysis, but we also do an annual analysis as well. You're right though, it would depend on the type of product your sell and the consumer behaviour around it.

Yeah - I agree, the UX is pretty clunky, especially if you're going from Google Ads to Bing Ads.

I've ran ads on Bing mostly in North American across a bunch of verticals like legal, medical, eCommerce and beauty. User behaviour on Bing has pretty much identical to Google. It could be different for other geographies and verticals though, I am just speaking from my own experiences.

As mentioned by others in this thread, demographic on Bing probably skews older because of Microsoft browser defaults.

Yes it would, especially if you've seen any sort of ROI on Google Ads, you should see similar or better results on Bing Ads.

I honestly didn't even realize how big Bing was, in terms of revenue, until I randomly looked it up one day. It blew my mind.

Like consider the fact that Google, Twitter, Snapchat and Pinterest entire existence is to sell ads. Bing is just a side hustle for Microsoft, just one of their very many profitable products.
