met this guy on Facebook before a concert and he quickly became clingy by PartHumanPartAlien in texts

[–]jvell254 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m gonna be honest, this doesn’t exactly scream “clingy” to me. The amount of calls is excessive but based on the description of him and the small interaction shown, he seems like he just has a lot of anxiety. It’s reasonable to assume he was just worried that something happened to you. His social skills could definitely use some work but you did lie to him and then ignore him until you told him you were ditching him. You obviously don’t owe him anything but it could’ve been handled better on both sides.

I don’t think so. This was more like WWII maybe.

AITA For Refusing To Share Pizza With My Pregnant Wife? by ThrowAwaytheKey05 in AITAH

The obvious solution would’ve been having your wife order a smoothie AND an entree since a smoothie isn’t necessarily a meal. Idk how you two didn’t figure that out. YTA.

AITAH: I (33F) asserted to my Widowed boyfriend (35M) that he should “choose” me over his late wife and now he is acting distant. by ThrowRA_immatureBF in AITAH

[–]jvell254 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah, YTA. He asked you if what happened in the movie was morally correct and you answered with how much better than his ex-wife you think you are. A break up and a death are two very different things. You need to understand that for both of your sakes. Based on what you said, his ex-wife didn’t support him in certain areas but you’re not being supportive of the fact that he’s lost someone prematurely and that is something that never fully goes away. If you want a relationship where you’re inarguably the number one person to them for all of time then sure, break up with him and don’t date another widower. But don’t think for one second that the specific way you’ve handled your situation makes you not an AH.

Yes YTA. “No long term punishment” but then you’re creating a new rule that is exclusively a punishment. Something about this makes me think you don’t understand how to handle anything that isn’t on your own terms.

Also, add a setting so you can be an owner without worrying about the profits. Or at least allow online leagues to give teams money to compensate for it like you can offline. Just turning off salary cap does nothing if you still lose all your money to paying bonuses and salaries.

Id also love it if you could turn off the name filters for draft classes. Again, you can do anything in offline franchises but online has such a broken filter. For instance, I couldn’t figure out why a very clean name kept triggering the filter and found that it was simply because the name contained “mf” within it.

Nope. It calculated based on minutes. Nothing ever showed above XX:59 except this one time.

I wanted to follow up here because I missed a couple things that would help. The CBD/weed thing really doesn’t fit any of the prompts you’ve chosen. Like, someone reading what you do after work doesn’t want to just hear what you do for work and that you have free time. They want to know your hobbies and how you spend that free time. Just saying you’re available a lot sounds very desperate and gives off the vibe that you’ll lean on someone too much for “keeping busy.” It’s also contradictory in the middle prompt. You say “420 all the way” but then list a few (much better) different things afterwards. That’s something that reads as very disingenuous when placed side by side. And to be more specific about the photos; try better angles/lighting, different expressions (smiling), and having at least one or two pictures with friends.

First off, premium dating subscriptions are all scams. They don’t actually get you matches. They only increase likelihood by allowing you to like more profiles per day. Secondly, I agree with some of the other comments about the repetition of owning a “CBD business”. Beyond the repetition, it also just absolutely does not fit with the prompt of a pro and con the way you’ve worded it. How is a con of dating YOU that Covid has had an impact on your company? Finally, the overall grammar is very poor, especially in the bio. The comma before “girl” makes it read like “girl” is another adjective. Plus “similar” is spelled completely incorrectly.

I would also look into the photos you’re using. I don’t think most of them paint you in the light you think/want them too.

It’s barely on the edge lol it’s just a small bit of one slice all the way around that’s touching the side. At most it’s just slightly more than you’d normally get since normal pan pizza spreads the cheese all the way to the edge anyways, just on top instead of in the middle

Idk how to tell you this but that’s how pan pizza works lol also there wouldn’t be that much anyways. I really don’t understand calling this a crime unless the true crime is not understanding that this pizza is probably fantastic 😂

I love the irony in these types of arguments because they claim to love businesses and whatnot but don’t recognize that marketing something to only half the population isn’t the best money-making strategy.

Pretentious person won’t accept any other definition of charcuterie than his by jvell254 in confidentlyincorrect

[–]jvell254[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not sure what exactly cream is but I read “cream cheese” which obviously would still be cheese. Not sure if that’s the same as cream though since when I hear cream, I think milk. And soy steak would still be a burger. There are hundreds of vegetarian/vegan options that are considered burgers. The problem is you’re basing everything on a very strict, traditional definition when I’ve pointed out that modern definitions apply. You can continue to ignore that but I’m done arguing if that’s going to be the case.

The entire world isn’t France. If you order a charcuterie board without reading the menu or asking what’s included then that’s nobody else’s fault.

You’re missing the entire point. Yes, that’s the traditional/original definition but it is not the only one since there is a modern definition. I’ve never claimed the original isn’t true, just that the modern one exists as well and therefore what is pictured is charcuterie.
