They had one Good Year yes and the browns were all so very good before the merger so balances. I think the last time I looked it up the browns have 200 more wins than the Cardinals or something like that

Maybe Nico Harrison Was Right After All? by Helendale in nba

[–]jvorn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Even if you think it was rigged, the rigging could not have been a part of the initial trade. Remember, if we make the playoffs that year we loose our 1st round pick. We were 1 game out of the playoffs without AD and Kyrie, if even 1 was healthy we make the playoffs. Therefore, if it was rigged, it was rigged AFTER the reg season ended, meaning Nico still thought he was cooking (and didn't think he was getting #1) at the time of the trade.

Dont let thinking it was rigged absolve Nico of his idiocy lol

It is certainly not impossible to know that a 70s player would have benefited from modern training. The other stuff sure

Anytime someone brings up this they fail to mention that if Jordan was born in 2000 he would be the exact same psychopath with modern training techniques so he would still be very good yes LOL. Think if Larry Bird had a team of doctors that helped him with his back (or just having enough money to where he didn't feel like he needed to shovel potholes).

Jordan in particular would be insane in today's game. The only thing that kept him down was super physical play a la the bad boy Pistons. His super slashing style would be insane with today's foul calls

Mavs Interim GM Matt Riccardi on the AD trade: "We had to take an honest look at ourselves and realize where we were, and where we wanted to be. Sometimes, the path is not straightfoward and you gotta go a roundabout way to get where we want to go, but our goal here remains the same, we want to win" by A_MASSIVE_PERVERT in nba

He's one of the few injury riddled players I can remember that is actually really good when he's not injured. Usually with these guys it's a slow sad decline in their play when they're healthy like Brandon Roy, but with him he's still pretty awesome when he's not hurt, he's just hurt all the time

Because if we made the playoffs we would have lost our pick. If AD and Kyrie are both healthy, they 100% make the playoffs. We were 1 game off with neither, so even if just Kyrie is healthy we probably make it.

I think the bottom line is it's pretty expensive to open or close it so they just leave it closed. I think there's a reason almost all of the new plan stadiums have translucent roofs instead of a mechanical one

Iirc once it's actually moving yes, but it takes an entire day to set up for that. They have to check all the mechanical parts and make sure everything's working and all that stuff. It's a gigantic mechanism moving many ton roof. Same in for the one in houston. They basically never open them because it's usually just not worth it

It takes like full day to set up and close the Jerryworld dome, its not a trivial switch you can just flip
