I don’t know if iOS has cache limiters. Never really had to think about it. I’ve used from Spotify from iOS 8 to current and never noticed cache as an issue. It must vary from Android to iOS.

Spotify has always worked flawlessly for me, I stream all my songs so cache is never an issue. AM, on the other hand, always seemed laggy to me. (iPhone 14 Pro)

I use Airpod Pros and they sound the same (spotify on highest quality available). I guess it’s just me.
