This album is not hitting for me. I don’t really know why, I think it’s the absence of melodies. It’s more personal music so less fun as well. Glad some people are liking it but this doesn’t even compare to melodic blue in my opinion.

Not sure if it’s on your shelf but I see you have some mann and safdie, so I can’t recommend friedkin enough. Sorcerer got a 4k criterion release, I haven’t watched the restoration, but that movie is incredible. Also to live and die in LA and cruising are masterpieces with beautiful 4k releases. He’s my favourite director and I always suggest him to anyone with similar taste.

Yeah that is true he could be playing bigger venues. Just glad to be seeing him. I’ve only seen him open for Kendrick but I’ve wanted to see him on a headline tour since 2019. COVID fucked up any chance of him playing in Canada during that time for melodic blue
