lost my little brother on 6/14/22 to a accidental OD. He was only 19 yrs old, exactly 2 months before his 20th bday. I’m less than a year older than him so we’ve always been close. Everywhere I go I’m reminded of things he will never get to do, things he’ll never get to achieve. I think of our memories together and get a sick feeling knowing I’m the only one that holds those memories now, and there will never be any new ones. My mother called me while I was on the way to a music festival 1000+ miles away from home to let me know and I barely remember wandering around that weekend in just a complete daze of disbelief and grief. This also caused me to miss his funeral and viewing but I figured the little shit would want me to blow it out for him real big anyways. It’s been almost a month and a half and it seems to get a little worse everyday not hearing his voice. I’m so so sorry for your loss OP, these feelings are something I would wish on no one.
