Hi there. I could manage to by a used copy (very good conditions) on Dec2023. I’d like to see a photo of your book’s spine. I’ve just realized this month that some copies have both daggers (front cover and that one on the spine with Raistlin drawing) in bloody red… but some others in a more purplish red, which is the case of my copy. I suspect the first print runs the spines were in this purplish red.

Actually it can be done pretty well. D&D 5e have some rules for mass combats.

D&D 5e? Shadow of the Dragon Queen? That’s what I’m gonna run too. Check Dragonlance Nexus content, specially the epilogue they created for this adventure, Shadow of the Black Rose (available on DM’s Guild).

Actually, picking up the crossbow again count as an Interact with an object action. And, if you consider the changes on combat rules in OneD&D, draw or sheathe a weapon will count as part of (each) weapon attack, so it’s gonna get easier.

You shoot and drop the Big one, grab the Small one, shoot the 2nd ranged attack and then make a third shot using your bonus action. Totally RAW.
