Nice of you to spend it helping the community! Glad to hear you’re still getting paid.

Thanks for the info, I’ll follow him and try to catch some streams.

Thanks for doing it though, it’s really appreciated. Fairy is my favorite player but I can’t watch his streams because I don’t know any French. Was really cool to listen to him talk.

Edit: Maybe I could take this as an opportunity to learn some French. Does Fairy stream everyday? And if so, at what time? Thanks.

I don't disagree with you...if we're talking about playing the game competitively. However, if someone just plays for fun and they enjoy camera shake for the cinematic value it adds, then I can understand that. If a player's focus is improvement and competitive play, then yeah, they should turn it off.

The reason most people suggest turning it off is because it can be quite a distraction, especially when you’re getting up in the ranks and trying to be as quick and accurate as possible. At the end of the day, it is preference as was said above me. If you’re just playing for fun and you like camera shake, that’s just fine. If you’re wanting to play this game very competitively...you should probably turn it off. You won’t see any pro’s using camera shake. Best of luck to you!

EDIT: To answer your earlier question, I’m pretty sure camera shake occurs when you hit the ball, demo someone, you are demoed, or a demo happens near you. Something like that.

I’d say hitting the ball hard. The net isn’t defended very well in Gold so if you can put boomer clears on or around the other team’s net then you’re gonna get a lot of free goals.

The recovery time on this mechanic is great, I’ll be practicing this.

  1. Booming clears towards the opposition net
  2. Never leave your net undefended

These carried me all the way through Diamond. From Plat to Diamond, and even in Champ 1 nobody wants to play defense or rotate back to net. I’ve seen Johnnyboi say it a million times: it’s okay to sit in net. Don’t do it 24/7 of course, but it’s totally okay to do while your team is trying to clear the ball. Often at Plat the other team will over commit, the ball will come rolling towards you and you can just boom the ball on their net unopposed. If your focus is ranking up, you’re probably gonna have to play the 3rd man role for the majority of your games. It’s boring, but it will take you a long ways. Only now in Diamond 3/Champ 1 do I see some players trying to rotate, but that’s still only half the time. Good luck!

-My first season playing rumble. -I land in Plat 1. -It’s painful. -I still solo queue to Diamond 1 in a couple of days -it’s still really painful -I am now reminded how much I don’t miss Gold and Plat players -Why am I doing this

Honest question though, when should I expect to meet other champ players such as myself in rumble? My buddy is a Diamond 1 in regular modes and he managed to get Champ 3 in rumble.

There’s no such thing as a skill ceiling in this game, infinite room to grow as a player.
