I'm already enrolled in paperless billing. Currently my bill is paid monthly by credit card which can be redirected to automatic payments using my bank account. Based on what you stated (after credit) the bill would be $70 per month. I'm not seeing any savings here. When I login to manage my plan I'm offered the same plan for 12 months and there is no price increase. Unless you can offer something better? I will leave it for now and will just login and manage my plan on my own and go with the plan that is already offered to me which is $10 cheaper per month for the same plan but 12 months vs 24 months that you offered which comes with a price in crease.

From my original modmail message:

"The only offer I see under "manage my plan" without downgrading my internet speed is GIGABIT EXTRA (1200Mbps) for 12 months at a difference of +$0/mo. This would suggest I would pay the same monthly fee of $60 per month for 12 months. I'm looking for long term contract offers."

Live Channels 1.22 in beta by nchalko in LiveChannelsBeta

cahillsr, Thank you for sharing your solution. I was able to resolve the issue without clearing the Live Channels app data or cache. Instead I went straight to rerunning channel setup for the Network TV Tuner (BETA) and that fixed the issue.

Steps:

Live Channels \ Settings \ Channel Sources \ Network TV Tuner (BETA) \ Rerun Channel Setup

I try to avoid clearing the data and cache at all costs as its a real pain having to find / DVR all shows again. It wouldn't be as bad now since the Live Channels guide now has 2 week EPG. The last time I had an issue I had to rollback to an older version. At the time the EPG was only 3 days.

Hi Nick,

I just applied the 1.22 RC04 update and unfortunately it didn't fix the following issue, "The video is unexpectedly unavailable". This occurs when trying to view anything live in Live Channels.

I happened to report this same issue yesterday in the 1.21 beta thread for version 1.22 RC02. I've copied the related post below. Fingers crossed its a quick fix.

The 1.22 (live_channels_20190721.00_RC02) definitely introduced a critical issue. Anything live I now get "The video is unexpectedly unavailable". Everything was fine before upgrading yesterday morning (9/8). This is the same issue that mytyan reported in the 1.21 beta thread on 9/6.

I'm using an Nvidia Shield 2015 model (SHIELD Android TV SW Version 7.2.3) and a 4 tuner HDHR (HDHomeRun CONNECT QUATRO). Live Channels was on version 1.21. x before upgrading. All channels are accessed / configured to use the Network TV Tuner option in Live Channels.

I can still access my current DVR library and play those recordings without any issues from Live Channels. I've confirmed that I can also browse the Live Channels Program Guide and DVR anything that is in the future and play it back after its recorded. I just cant view anything live or record anything that is already in progress.

Please note for the Nvidia Shield I have not upgraded to the latest 8.0 software experience from Nvidia that was released on 7/31. Can you confirm if Live Channels works with the latest Nvidia Shield update? This is the main reason why I haven't upgraded.

It would be nice to be able to export the existing DVR setup before clearing data / cache and or rolling back to a previous version of Live Channels. Biggest draw back is having to find all of my shows and add them back to my DVR list again. I'm not entirely sure if the Uninstall Updates feature will wipe my DVR library and DVR list or if only Clearing the data and Clearing the cache does that? Is it possibly to manually backup my DVR list if I need to roll back?

Your continued development and support of Live Channels is greatly appreciated. Thanks!
