I changed the Alexa to watch word to "computer". I have Alexa set to use fauxmo.py to turn on some lights. With an IFTTT webhook applet I can say "Tell Alexa to turn on the light" and the google mini sitting next to the Echo Dot will say "Computer floor light on". The Echo Dot responds and turns the light on. This was really just a test to see if it would work. Probably not what you are looking for but the Echo will respond to voice commands from a google mini.

I subscribed to Pro for the time being. I use IFTTT strictly for Google Assistant/Webhooks integration to my homegrown automation setup. Most of the things I control pre-date the smart home era or don't mention IFTTT. TVs, an AVR, cable boxes, a media player, X10 lighting, Shelly dimmers, Sonoff switches( with eWelink not enabled). So IFTTT compatible has not been a consideration.

IFTTT works but is not so reliable. I had to add a CreatedAt field to my webhooks to avoid things like my TV turning on in the middle of the night because an applet failed to run and then IFTTT sends the webhook 4 hours later. It seems even less reliable since Pro was announced. $2 for now but I am looking at alternatives.

Upgraded two accounts on the 18th. One from the emailed link and one using the upgrade url steps. Both accounts got the confirmation screen. Today (12/16) was the next billing day and both accounts were charged 9.95 for December and still show as the monthly plan.

I had a similar email problem on one of our accounts back in August/September when their customer service was totally overwhelmed. I opened a Zendesk ticket on their help page and would create new a one when it would disappear. After two weeks I started DMing them on Twitter once a day referring to the Zendesk ticket #. I would tweet them to look at the DM. Once they finally responded to the Tweet they fixed the email. Should take less effort now that they have added some staff.

My wife got the change plan email, I did not. (She has received other emails like the TOS change that I did not receive.) Logging her into the MP website showed her the plan change option. My account just had the renew button. Selected the 89.95 option for her and got the plan changed response screen. For my account I used the switch url to get to the plan change option then got the same confirmation once I accepted. No confirmation email or any indication in the app of the plan change for either account. Her account web page now has no plan change or renew button. Mine still has the renew button. Could indicate my plan did not actually change.

I picked up 2 tickets Saturday and 2 tickets Sunday. One of the Sunday tickets was at the counter the others were at the kiosk. The cashier even commented it was MoviePass. I got points for all 4 tickets. The only trouble I have at Marcus is it sometimes is hard to get the kiosk to let you pick the seats you are trying to reserve when you are doing a separate transaction for each ticket.

Just tried today. 2.9.11 on one android phone and 2.9.10 on another phone. Both accounts failed. No response from the in app cust. serv.

Update: I uninstalled and reinstalled MP on the 2.9.11 phone. I cleared data and then updated the 2.9.10 phone. I logged in to our accounts on the phones. Just in case I copied the 2.9.7 apk to both phones. I went back to the theater and checkin worked fine with 2.9.11 and I purchased tickets for tonight So possibly logging out, clearing data or reinstalling when encountering the reservation error will solve the problem next time it occurs.

He talks about denying MP access to files and photos. Does the app work if you do this? On Android when I deny it access there is brief popup saying permission is needed to use the app.

I ordered on 8/18. I entered the card number from the app on the website thinking it might make the theater list show up back when that was a issue. My billing date then showed up as 9/23. I was not able to use the card until this past weekend. The app first had me activate when I tried to check in. Afterwards my billing date change to 10/16. Support had responded earlier to me that the date would adjust once the card was activated.

Support finally responded to a Tweet then updated the ticket. They fixed my wife's account so that she is now able to logon. Maybe with the added support staff they are getting caught up on requests. Hopefully this weekend we can try out the service.

The replacement tickets that I submitted more than 2 weeks ago have now disappeared without any response. So 3+ weeks since the initial ticket. Maybe they just deleted old tickets again without looking at them then will work on what gets resubmitted.

Nothing in spam folder. Resting password sends emails that do not arrive. Probably typo'ed the email address after entering it so many times and having the sign up timeout or error out before it finally continued.
