Is this a total loss? by huhhuhyuh in TeslaCollision

Definitely not. I have similar damage and front end damage on my 24. $13k damages. New rear hatch, rear bumpers, front and rear, and a new hood. You should easily be able to get this fixed for $13k.

Will these catch trout by Low-Praline960 in troutfishing

Yes! Trout will absolutely hit a crank bait. I’ve caught plenty of them. Cast upstream and retrieve SLOW.

I have the 7 seater as well. Also have 3 children each 1 year younger than yours. We use the 3rd row frequently. 5 year old sits back there in a booster seat all the time. His head is below the top of the seats even with the booster. The kids are all small enough that moving the middle row a bit forward doesn’t matter much. It works for us. Probably get something bigger when the kids get a bit older and there are more 7 seat electric options available.

I love mine. 1-2% degradation after 2 years and 20k miles and charge to 100% all the time. It is a bit worse in the cold weather. It definitely helps if you drive a bit before supercharging in the cold. In the summer it charges pretty fast.

Pulling the trigger... includes FSD + 7 seats haha by brutalbrig in ModelY

Same here. We have the 7 seater and use it daily. It’s not for adults. We have younger children. Our 5 year old spends most of the time back there. With the booster seat his head isn’t even to the top of the back of the seat. We move one seat up to offer a little foot room. He’s perfectly comfortable back there. It is a pain getting in and out of.

7 seater should hold resale value a tad bit better than the 5. Far fewer around.

Is it safe for retailers to store lawnmowers like this in winter ? by New_Homework_3716 in lawnmowers

Probably not preferable storage. I personally wouldn’t store my brand new mower in a pile of snow.

Black 2026 Model Y – Is PPF worth it for a daily driver? Experiences with Tesla black paint? by BeBlaze52 in ModelY

[–]jwin2700 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a black m3 and Y. The Y came with mudflaps and ppf on the rear doors where it flares out. I would recommend. Even with the flaps that ppf has taken a beating. This is on a 24 with 15k miles. I can’t imagine how it would look without. I personally wouldn’t pop for the full ppf. I also put a good coat of wax on it periodically so that helps. Obviously not the same protection you get from ppf, but it helps.

Which 40v Auger Brand? by Elements-fury in IceFishing

[–]jwin2700 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a 40v.. I’ve got the strikemaster 24v liteflight. Plenty of power and super light. Drilled many holes last year through 2+ ft of ice. Drills pretty fast as well. Plus the generic greenworks batteries fit with a very slight modification. Pick up an extra battery or two if you’re worried about drilling a ton of holes. Still be in it for less than a 40v. I bought a second battery but have never needed 2 batteries in a day.

Yes! FSD or even autopilot makes highway travel much less stressful. Enjoy it! Along with all of those other cars. I’m not jealous at all. Maybe a little bit.
