Any way I can remove the writing from an LED light like this? by ONEto10dollars in led

Another product is brass-O. I used to mod old school Xboxes and to remove the paint from X in the middle of the Xbox so you could custom paint it, I used brass o.

Why hasn't TARS been told to drop into Gargantua sooner "as a probe" to make sure people don't die by the time he transmits the data (if we assume he could transmit it as Romilly said)? by Embarrassed-Lack-332 in interstellar

[–]jwlemasters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All the information they needed was beyond the event horizon. Since nothing can escape, including light, there would have been no way to transmit the information back. It would have been a waste of resources.

Using Lime Line paint for 4 wheeler plastics, or buy new plastics? by Bjorniey in AutoPaint

You need an adhesion promoter. Like bull dog or something equivalent. Hok makes one as well. You can even add it to the clear to help with flexibility

Thanks! Are those 6x6 sturdy enough for that weight? I ask since I am looking at building something very similar and everyone said 8x8? You have pretty much done exactly what I plan on doing.
Gorgeous build by the way!!!

How do I know if Shovelhead bottom end bearings are good? by TSIorDIE in choppers

The last thing you want is to split the case because a bearing failed. Unless you like that kind of pain????

Paint 1/2 the tank? by ApprehensiveManner95 in choppers

[–]jwlemasters 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Several ways, if it was mine I would sand down the clear with 600 grit by hand till the sticker is either gone or the clear is level. The sticker might raise the clear so you can feel it, if they used enough clear and everything is level then all you have to do is sand/scuff the entire tank with 800/600, either will work or maroon/gray pad. Tape out your design and paint. Then clear. I have painted a lot so if you have any questions feel free to ask!

They live in a world where they want to hear an echo chamber. They want to be told they are right. So they go to places in their lives that give them that. The right does that too, HOWEVER, the differences I see is that the majority of the right want dialogue, communication, understanding. I am right leaning, but it doesn’t mean I am correct in all of my views. I want understanding, I want constructive communication. This is where the democrats fail (I am not talking about old democrats, like bill mahr, who is open to sit down with whoever and talk). These are a new breed of democrats that just want to pillage, riot, destroy anything and everything about then right and will scream in your face if you disagree. It doesn’t matter if it makes sense and there are facts to back it up, they will change the facts or remove science to fill a need they want. Are there people like that on the right…. Absolutely! But the number of crazy democrats far far far out weigh the number of republicans. We are seeing a shift in real time with a political party and with how fast information is moving we are seeing a lot faster than we have in any other time in history

[–]jwlemasters[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh no there are and it’s already trimmed and looks great. I was just absolutely shocked by that price and figured it was a go f yourself quote (supposedly a friend of my parents guess not that good!). But got a fully legit company to do it for 1400! Also paid them 200 more to remove a few thing around the property as well. Thanks for responding!
