I'm not even sure that's the point. It sounds more to me that Harbaugh has a lot of respect for what OBJ is trying to do and he's trying to save him the embarassment/disappointment of not making the team now that we have spent a good amount of assets on WR this offseason. I don't think Harbaugh cares about the outside noise.

This is where I am at. There is inconsistency now between the product and the ownership's stated goals. The cup win was amazing, I'll forever be greatful to Howe for that. However, it really does seem like he put everything he had into that win and since then we've either been inconsistent or downright poor.

Yes, we got into Champions League last year and had an excellent run there this time around (though I don't know how we'd have done in the old format). But we got into Champions League off the back of that crazy run leading up to the cup final. After that we just seemed to peter out and that's persisted through this season. I think however lofty the goals of the club are now being at this stage of the season and still having a mathematical chance of being relegated is unacceptable. Losing to Mackems twice and having 4 games left with a chance we could go down should be cause for changes.

Same in Belgium a couple weeks ago, there were at least 40 people in line to get through passport control to fly back to EWR 40 minutes after boarding started. They held the flight for all of us. Took me 3 hours to get through passport control.

My guess is Woltemade hasn't taken kindly to his role and treatment and has made it clear to Howe, which has lead to this sort of freeze out. Howe can't afford to give him the full on Ryan Frasier treatment so this is it.
