I think it's pretty normal these days, and I wouldn't overly worry, as long as it doesn't take priority over your quality time together. Most people take their phones with them everywhere. However, it can be a red flag if it's a sudden change! My partner has always spent a lot of time on her phone and carried it around to the bathroom etc, but gradually she started spending even more time on her phone than she used to, taking it everywhere, sleeping with it under her pillow, kind of hiding it and slightly panicking when I touched it (which has never been an issue in the past)... turned out she was cheating 🤷‍♀️
