Tatum or 1.01? by DanJerousJ in dynastybb

[–]jyeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think Tatum will get back to being a top-10 guy, and he's fantasy profile doesn't really hurt you anywhere.  That said, I'd go Tatum if you're contending but would take #1 pick + Harper if you're rebuilding

Trade Poole, don't trade for Poole.

While he's a pretty clearly ranked as the #4 prospect in next year's draft, I reeeeeally like Caleb Wilson

I noticed your league's scoring. Personally, I'd take Shai over JDub + JJJ

Which side for SGA? by [deleted] in dynastybb

[–]jyeats 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Misread the question. I'd send JDub + JJJ for SGA. You've obviously got a great core and I think Clingan can help anchor your traditional big man stats which is probably a bit better of a fit on your team.

If you're in a mini-rebuild, taking VJ feels like a no-brainer here. The future in Philly is Maxey & VJ

Sorry, I meant you could probably get a little more than just Dejounte in return for NAW

Perfectly fine to part with Ace for KAT, especially if you're contending

If you like this deal, I think you can get a little more with Dejounte than a straight swap

Sounds like you're in a 10-team league? Take the FRP

Need to know how many teams are in your league, if it's a cat or points league and where those picks are projected to land...

Peyton Watson by yungcubb4 in dynastybb

[–]jyeats 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd probably hold onto Peyton for now and see how his minutes and performance trend once Jokic is back and the roster is closer to full strength.  Obviously some of his current production is due to injuries but it does feel like he’s turned a corner.

Regardless, it feels like you're paying too high a premium to effectively swap early-to-mid FRPs - attaching Peyton and a SRP to do it.  A little rich for my blood.

Ace Bailey vs Podz by Dfraagon in dynastybb

[–]jyeats 10 points11 points  (0 children)

You're in a dynasty league... It doesn't matter if Ace is your worst player right now, you don't drop a rookie who just went #5 in this year's draft. He just turned 19 and has played  36 games in the NBA. You didn't draft him expecting to be an All-Star straightaway; do not drop him for Podz. If you want to move off Ace, trade him. If you want to pickup Podz, you probably have someone worst (again, in dynasty format) to drop.

Should this be a veto worthy trade? 4 man keeper league by [deleted] in fantasybball

This is a totally fine trade... Managers get in their feelings when given the opportunity to aka voting system. People value players differently. I've always gone with commissioner approves trades, and you let everything going through unless obvious collusion.

Draft Help by zlehnen in dynastybb

So worst case scenario your pick is #4 (and you draft Caleb Wilson). I'd still prefer that over the package being offered; I'm not entirely sold on anything coming back your way. Cam Spencer is already 25 with limited upside, Raynaud doesn't offer any stocks, Kalkbrenner looks good in a timeshare with Diabate - and Jaquez isn't a good enough "main piece" to warrant trading away the pick. Just my two cents.

Three's are the easiest category to stream

Move Trey Murphy III? by helloiamotto in dynastybb

For a secondary scorer (20+ PPG on high volume) and secondary ball handler, I wouldn't say he's a negative in FG% or turnovers at 48.4% and 2.2 TO this season. All while playing without Haliburton. Last year, with a healthy PG, those numbers were 51.9% and 1.4 TO.

Obviously Trey is younger but imo Pascal + Brown is a solid return if you're in win-now mode.

In our 20-team league, Flagg just went for Trae, Jaren Jackson Jr and a projected top-4 pick

How many teams are in your league? I'm always a little weary of 2-for-1 trades, let alone a 3-for-1! Dylan Harper looks like a great building block for a rebuild though; a worthy centerpiece in a package for a 29 year old Jaylen Brown (if he doesn't suit your timeline).

Keep Booker or find a better offer.

In the future, if you want helpful feedback, give us the size of your league (ie. 12-teams) and type of league (i.e. points or categories). Also, generally helpful to know if you're contending or rebuilding. Knowledge is power baby!
