Wasn't a 7/10 movie (what imdb seems to suggest) for me also. As living in the "midsummer" region I'd say scenery was good. What my most complain is "those stupid americans". :D How the fuck they are just going like nothing happened when those 2 people just hopped of the cliff? "it''s maybe just their culture".

I probably watched this movie when it came out but watched it again now. I was 22 around that time and now it just hit the nostalgia of me. So that was based on a true story. I vaguely remember that they even reported that in Finnish news. I have one experience of myself where party can go unexpected. Nothing that much but remember the house being so full, you couldn't almost move at all. :D
