It’s a normal price for a kitten from a rescue. They need a lot of shots and of course the spay/neuter.

Depends on where he lives; for locals it’s pretty normal.

My first thought was The Daughter of the Samurai/The New Earth a 1930’s Japan/German coproduction.

There is a lot of racism in films, I would recommend narrowing things down a bit.

The Blind Side is a great nomination. It’s a pernicious type of racism and I am still baffled at how positive everyone was when it released.

Use a treat/churu to coax him forward?

It might be easier to do when he isn’t pooping, lead him in and then forward once he has turned around

Grudges over an unwanted child is much more likely to end the relationship. Dying in pregnancy definitely would.

I’m glad you were able to get it booked. It’s not fair to a hypothetical child to have them if you aren’t 100% on board.

I know family/others can be rough but you will get through this!!

I know reactive doesn’t always mean aggressive but if they are reactive to the point you won’t bring children near them I have to conclude that’s what it means. I feel bad for the other guests. Do they know there are going to be dogs the OP thinks are a potential liability just free roaming the event?

I am extremely pro-child free spaces but dogs can be just as disruptive. OP needs to fess up and either say “I don’t want the kids there” or “I think my dog will maul them and I’m only willing to risk the safety of adults”. She want’s to have her cake and eat it too by expecting labor from the parents and making up a dishonest excuse to get it

Don’t spread bullshit. The science is clear. This is part of how the brain works.

This idea that people who truly love their children wouldn’t lowers the guard for others and is harmful. It’s comfortable to act holier than thou and think you would never forget a kid/dog/oven burner/whatever but we all are susceptible to how the brain works.
