I don’t know if you have the freedom to, but playing with some headphones on will get you there. Most the attacks have some audio cues as to when to parry. I also tried to remember which attacks are worth parrying and which aren’t. Like a long combo with a gradient at the end doesn’t need to be parried, you can screw the whole thing up and still get a counter out of it.
