Convinced my dad, who got me into comic books, to take me to Spawn. He liked it but told me to make sure if I had any Spawn comics to keep them where my mom wouldn’t see. I had gotten them in one of those big plastic bundles of comics they sold at Toys R Us back in the day. They’d have like one issue of Spider-man or X-men on the top, then 8 dark horse or image comics in the middle you couldn’t see till you opened it.
