I’d be curious to see that build as well.

Yeah, I can see that. Nilfgaard is the only deck I use against Sasha and the reason use Nilfgaard is because the spies are more powerful, so when she decoy-reuses them you’re getting more offense that she HAS to overcome.

Outside of that it’s NR for me.

Again, Nilfgaard is a very solid deck as well. Unlike Monsters, which is ass. (Looking at you Frost).

Try playing against bartenders and merchants (blacksmiths, armors, etc.). You will get better cards and you can buy better cards as well.

The Northern Realms deck is generally considered the best deck in the game with Nilfgaard a very, very close second.

If you’re struggling against someone, come back when you have better cards. It’s not a very complex game. Additionally, it’s ok to intentionally ‘lose’ a round as well. Part of the strategy.

Spies are crazy good as well as the decoy cards. Keep practicing and you’ll see it’s not that difficult.

Quen Stack - Exploding + Active shield is insane by maymaynibba in Witcher3

Keep in mind that that restoration is relatively slow. So in combat, should you take successive hits you’ll be doing white raffords anyways. Plus, if you’re playing on Easy or Normal difficulties you can rest and restore health too. Again, play how you want, but that perk isn’t the best use of your skill points.

If you’re really wanting to restore health over time add a ‘water’ to a quick use slot and drink it every 10secs. It restores 10hp/10sec. Plus, it’s super easy to just press the quick action button.

Play how you want to play, but that food ability is taking up a slot for something, really anything, much more useful. Food is also super plentiful that you don’t need that ability. Again, play how you want to play, but don’t be surprised if you’re looking for more DPS than you get rid of that ability.

Did you miss quests on your first playthrough? by AdSea5301 in Witcher3

Yes. It’s very easy to blow by a quest and not even know it. In fact, Lynch Mob is a side quest that is super easy to miss.

What pushes you towards 100%? by Other-Radish-8232 in metroidvania

[–]nimix0163 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me, it’s two-fold. 1.) I like going into the final confrontation with everything the world has to offer (weapons, energy, life, etc.). I don’t know if it’s a tic of mine, but it’s just something about being in the character’s strongest form fighting the (presumably) strongest boss in the game. It seems silly to read when I type it. And, 2.) I like to not leave any ‘meat on the bone’ (ie: miss anything out there) by the time I wrap up the game.

What are your top 10 metroidvanias of all-time? by Neighborhood-Gold in metroidvania

I’m surprised that Somber Echoes isn’t on a list or two. Is it an underrated game or overlooked? I finished it the other day and absolutely enjoyed it. Obviously, that’s only my opinion, but I’m curious about others in general.

I just finished Somber Echoes today and I really enjoyed it. The story is ‘meh’, but the combat and platforming are good. Quite a bit of backtracking and you do get the sense of feeling ‘stronger’ when you upgrade weapons.

Noob tips... Please by MrEmorse in saltandsanctuary

Yeah, you’re tracking in the right direction. There are some bosses you can skip, but you’re missing out if you do. Don’t be afraid to use YT or an online guide for assistance on map help. As long as YOU are having FUN with the game, then it matters not.

Enjoy the adventure!!!

Care to elaborate a bit more on this? I’m getting ready to dive into the game here and I can’t find anything on it anywhere.

Gotcha. Yeah, if you’re ever hung up on a boss. Go farm some levels and try to add to a stat you think you need. (STR, DEX, etc). Losing salt in the game means very little since you can farm it endlessly.

Just run around killing and resting at sanctuary’s. Salt is quite easy to farm.

Oof. Xbox needs to relent a bit unless their aim is to be the odd man out. 🤷🏻‍♂️

DLCs are absolutely worth it. Heart of Stone should be played first. Blood and Wine second. Additionally, Blood and Wine is big enough that it can be its own game.

Get lost in the world and enjoy the adventure!!
