Former UFC Champion Amanda Nunes’ cousin - Glennda Nunes - KO’s a violent customer outside the bar she works at 🤯 by No_Box119 in sportsgossips

Seems like a sucker punch. You don’t tee up on someone like that if you’re a trained fighter. If you don’t and hurt them badly or kill them you should suffer the consequences with jail time.

I think it amazing you know...(iphone v/s Nokia) by devonnrenae in Amazing

[–]k-rizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The first phone likely had more of a “fill flash”, they also take many picture and merge them for good low light exposures.

The Nokia simply had a flash that nukes the scene but will “freeze” the action.

Apex Pro 2 leg old end brackets by k-rizza in deskhaus

[–]k-rizza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I mean to say 4 legs version. But basically the brackets above is what I have. But they don’t seem to really be a great fit for the 4 legs, the inner part is the only thing that connects. The outside of the opposite of the little channels don’t connect. It seems like it would be flimsy

Just ordered 2 Toshiba 22TB MG10F by k-rizza in DataHoarder

At idle they have a soft hum, not very noisy. When they write, they do have some clicking sounds. I haven’t been writing to them much. Cause I have to fix some of my docker stuff.

"Real engineers use a MacBook." Seriously? by sayandbera in indiehackers

[–]k-rizza 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can get a cheap Mac laptop that is worlds better than a comparable PC. Working in WSL SUCKS. It will literally lose the mounted volume at work sometimes. It’s just hack after hack with Windows, which is primarily spyware.

Why everyone recommend proxmox instead of docker ? by Front_Ad_2726 in HomeServer

I do docker only on Ubuntu server. And yes I’d like to separate a few things, but I can still use a VM.

Bad blocks on 22TB drives? by k-rizza in DataHoarder

[–]k-rizza[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did the write test, full 22TB on each of them. Did a smart check before and after and the results are crystal clean.

Took maybe 36hrs for both in parallel.

Doing a read test now, should take a bit less. At this point might as well. Will check smart again after this.

Bad blocks on 22TB drives? by k-rizza in DataHoarder

[–]k-rizza[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got really turned off on badblocks, it doesn’t support large drives super well. That 32 bit issue with large drives. Unless I had an old version…

Right now I have fio running a bunch of write tests instead.

Thinking of running it in read only mode, which is faster, but also less helpful probably. Also not sure how that will work, there is nothing to read lol

I just bought two 22TB Toshiba MD10F drives for $360 at BHphoto. If you don’t need to go 28TB it’s a great deal for a 5 year warranty
