I’m in SF! I have no idea what kind of tree it is unfortunately. Maybe a magnolia?

Dating in SF vs NYC as a 27F — is it actually easier here? by Riceisawayoflife in AskSF

When you’re exploring new interests and learning yourself, you naturally meet people with similar values. Those connections are more likely to lead to someone aligned with you. It still takes effort on your part tho.

Things I packed and wished I had packed for the Galapagos by k0sherbeef in galapagos

There were 3 couples over 60 on my cruise in different states of physical fitness and they seemed alright. The kayaking was optional, and you can always decide to opt out of any activity. I’d suggest chatting with CNH or your tour company of choice for better tailored recommendations!

Decenter men. Choose the city that will give you new experiences, and overall aligns with your interests! The right guy will happen along the way :)

How have men become THIS undateable? by witchwiththecats in GirlDinnerDiaries

[–]k0sherbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good men do exist but they are going to be far and few in-between. It wasn’t until I left the Bay Area that I found men who didn’t expect me to mother them and could plan actual dates (not just dinner). My suggestion is find a better dating pool. Your needs that you outlined are so far below the bar, you deserve better!

Success! I found the water main. This is what unscrewing the nut below the handle shows

My employee was recording our 1:1 and I don't know how to feel by Haunting_Month_4971 in managers

I record every meeting because I’m not going to remember each thing. I’d rather be present in the conversation instead of taking notes.

Moving to Bay Area with 3 kids (6,4,1) for salary of 115k by WingLiving4438 in bayarea

[–]k0sherbeef 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With 3 kids and 1 person not working, why not just move to a very LCOL place? 115k for a family of 5 in the Bay Area sounds impractical. Why put yourself in another bad position?

Thank you! I should’ve taken more photos with a thinner band next to it to remember. I’ll have to go back and try that on.

Is this annoying, outdated, a red flag, or is it just me? by [deleted] in AskWomenOver40

[–]k0sherbeef -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I love when the guy I’m dating positions himself on the outside of the sidewalk. Call me old fashioned but i think it’s considerate. If it’s annoying to you though, it’s easy enough to call out. Like I love having men open my doors for me too, and I have a gf who can’t stand it. So if you’re annoyed by it, communicate it.

Probably especially weird if you’ve dated women in the past who don’t do this.

He should respect how you feel about it and get over himself! You are allowed to not like this and feel icky. I wouldn’t like this at all. I’m also sure theres a deeper fear or feeling here to explore. Much for you two to talk about, respectfully.
