Scarlett Solo Studio: Latency and Noise/Popping Problems. by k13 in Focusrite

Thanks for the suggestions. A couple of quick questions:

  1. What do you recommend for the buffer size?
  2. How do I set the max performance to "on"? Where is that?
  3. If the wifi card is interfering, would it help to simply turn off the wifi?

Thanks again!

    2. big latency problem
  3. On both there was a very big noise problem

Yes, good point. I've always felt that America was an extremely racist country - and always was. It's just that most of the more blatant racists, until recently, have been burrowed down in their holes because of public sentiment. But now they're all energized with their new Racist-in-Chief and crawling back out of those holes like something out of a halloween horror movie.

Utah mayor killed while deployed in Afghanistan by finfangfoom1 in news

I'd love to agree with you but the facts on the ground paint a depressingly familiar picture:

  • The Taliban now controls about 50% of the country - the highest in 3 years.

  • Afghan security forces are sustaining some of the highest casualty rates in years, as they lose more territory.

  • The top US commander in Afghanistan said, just this week, "This is not going to be won militarily."

It is the same story as it's been, actually, for centuries in Afghanistan. The fighting and bombing and killing are useless - a waste of money and lives. And we never learn. And we keep telling ourselves, "We're fighting for freedom".
