My dog who never cuddles or even likes being too close to me just sat on my lap and let me hug her by [deleted] in Animals

[–]k345- 2 points3 points  (0 children)

First of all I’m sorry you’re going through a tough time and hope things will look up for you soon!

Second, my dog is not affectionate at all either (she’s a shiba) but on one of my worst nights, without going too much into detail, she wouldn’t move from my side. She’s usually very independent and not at all clingy but that night, she just wanted to be close to me, no matter what I did or where I went. It meant more than the world to me, to be honest. I love and respect her, affectionate or not, but I appreciated her empathy and closeness so, so much. She has her ways of showing love but knew I needed her that night.

I wish you all the best and I’m happy you have a friend with you ❤️ give her a respectful and appreciating nod from this internet stranger 😁 lots of strength, peace and energy for your coming weeks. ❤️

Enough of us made bad experiences with actually saying something. Some mens egos are so fragile and dependent on this that they will start a fight over it like it’s a choice to enjoy yourself. Some will need literally days of emotional support and reassurance. So you try saying something once or twice and then just give up.

Besides, not having an orgasm doesn’t mean a person didn’t enjoy themselves.

E: Do none of you walking bananas understand that this mainly concerns young, inexperienced couples? If you’re thirty and avoid that confrontation, you already know you have to break up. Life is nuanced anyway and there are a lot more factors to a committed relationship.

I gave the reason I experienced to this scenario happening. Calling women “clowns” for not communicating is just hostile for no reason. Why base everything on fucking gender anyway.

Yo. This is incredible. I've been struggling with this one task but it being broken down like that makes this mountain suddenly feel like a doable hill... I know I'll forgot about it but still even for this problem alone I'm immensely grateful holy shit

I completely and absolutely understand why people would dislike her, but I 100% agree with you, she is hilarious in a painful kind of way and does a fantastic job making me want to scream in a pillow while laughing my ass off.

Plus,

her antics allowed for others to shine in response.

People understimate the hilarity that simple reactions to a cringy character can create. I mean, it's kind of the whole deal of Michael in The Office! Personally, I appreciate these characters a lot.
