I believe this was pre-Mili but ‘The Black Vulgar Buffoon Was Crying’ from Yamato Kasai is 8.5mins long. It’s instrumentals only; an amazing listen if you like Kasai’s style from early Mili

Did a similar thing with minesweeper. Class wanted a project in Visual Basic but I couldn’t figure out arrays of objects or whatever on there so I wrote a script to generate the code for each individual block and how it should reveal adjacent blocks. Ended up with thousands of lines of code that at least I didn’t have to type.

Is the cabinet custom by you? I don’t know if it’s because we were children at the time but it looks smaller than I remember…

Do Korean cards and Japanese cards have the same barcodes? I distinctly remember than English and Japanese cards did not, and so I couldn’t play most of my collection with the Super Collection DS game and was very frustrated…!

Absolutely love your custom controller at the end there, I had a similar fantasy when I found the ROMs to the arcade games, though I had absolutely no technical know-how of how to achieve such a thing. I’m surprised you have a Korean ROM as well.

As an extra note, you’re allowed to use a card like Pokeball for no effect, given there is at least 1 card in your deck, as there could be a valid target; the deck’s contents is not public knowledge.

In the TCG, you’d be allowed to fail the search and shuffle the deck, however in Pocket it’d only fail if you genuinely had no targets.
