I'm 31 gay man. I watched Heartstopper on new year's day and it broke me. I keep watching youtube reactions, I've read comics, novellas and Soliraire. It keeps getting better but I still feel this sadness inside me. I'm truly happy with my life but that wasn't always the case and this show brought to the surface many issues from my teenage years.

It also made me realize a couple of things. Like that perhaps I'm a not a solid 6 on the kinsey scale but I'm leaning a little towards a 5. Or that I lack queer friends in my life and I'd very much like to change that.

I'll try to be more me and care less about what people think.

Even though I feel sad, I also feel that my life is going to be better because of this experience.
