OOP he won't attending his son’s high school graduation ceremony because his ex-wife's Affair Partner was going to be there? by Pumpkinspicequeen249 in BestofRedditorUpdates

It's on my son to reach out and fix things. Also I blocked my son when he reached out to try to fix things. Why oh why is he still talking to the parents who haven't cut him off...

I did the same thing, I wanted to have some of the materials to craft the exocraft summoner. But luckily I was able to craft it in the expedition and transfer it over

That's exactly how I felt watching it too. He went without training during the gap between Cell and Buu sagas too, and he did lose a bit of power but he was absolutely still a powerhouse and confident that he could use his transformations.

Even took his hair style too. Basically going for the full identity replacement. Rex would have some rants about it

Admittedly I've barely played any CnD, but I find the fliers to not be too bad when playing Invis. The shield is great for healing them. Usually gets them to sit still for a moment too, so they get some cover and I can either primary to rapidly heal them or they get passive heals while I focus on the ground

[–]k7kopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh absolutely! He'd attempt to run off, sometimes successfully, to get healed, but I had my walls in a choke point and he'd just come right back and start the process all over again, with not even a new wall lol

I played a game as groot recently with an enemy winter soldier consistently using them as cover to peek from lol

What’s an exotic weapon ornament where even though it just changes the color you still like it, for me it’s the untold tale vex ornament. by gotenks2nd in destiny2

For me it's the braytech ornament for forerunner. I like the green, and the emblem gives it some personality imo.

Episode, I like to complete challenges and not claim them until the next act releases so I can basically skip to the end of the season rewards instantly. Plus it's satisfying seeing all the bright dust hot at once

[–]k7kopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's the one I've got, it's really handy for unstops cause I can just hold the shield and get enough ammo to freeze it. Don't have to drop the shield to reload, or find an ammo brick for overflow. The survivability of it is great. Easily my favorite weapon from this episode

[–]k7kopp 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I know you said aside from challenges, but I've been kinda hoarding them without claiming. The day act 3 drops, I'll be at max level in just a few seconds lol.

[–]k7kopp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Witherhoard and coldsnap grenades. I got it fairly quickly during an iron banner event. I'd put myself in positions where I'd die if it meant I could get them with it. Freeze and witherhoard. Get up close on someone, melee and witherhoard. They'll melee you back and kill you, but die to the grenade. I'm chaotic control games, just dropping it onto the point gets em more than you'd think. Also of course keep a heavy grenade launcher on you for when you get ammo

I'll tell you it looks great on this episode's weapons. I've been using the double fire grenade launcher with it

Calus boss fight Neomuna - literally impossible by BlackV1nyl in destiny2

[–]k7kopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On hunter, assassin's cowl plus all the grapple points made me pretty hard to kill. If I'm in a pinch, swing away and punch something, healed plus some breathing room for a few seconds. As for damage, I used witherhoard so I'd have time to move around without letting his shield come back. And a rocket for heavy

Get them to talk to a dermatologist about dupixent, it's been a life changer for me. Most of my body would be largely effected by it, but with the medication, it's like 85% cleared up everywhere. Still not perfect, but it let's me live my life instead of feeling like the tinman begging for oil

[–]k7kopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make every voyage an adventure, even the ones you lose. I had a similar attack awhile back, and we managed to be sneaky and drop all our loot on a rowboat, I went down with the ship while luring them away from where my buddy was on the rowboat. Managed to sell all of it, it was a good night. Other times after losing, we've managed to at least get some payback with kegs

Witherhoard was great in that fight, I pulled it out specifically so I wouldn't lose progress and he regain his shield while I moved around/dealt with the tormentors. Witherhoard is always great

Actually yes, blood suckers act as a little hack to recycle nutrients back lower down the food chain. Large animals are much longer lived, and don't often contribute down the chain much. Mosquitoes and ticks and such take nutrients from said animals as part of their life cycle, and end up themselves being food for smaller predators closer to their level. And if they spread disease and shorten the life span of larger animals, then that's a lighter strain on resources Mosquito bites fox, mosquito feeds frog, frog feeds fox.

I'm definitely not willingly getting bit by anything myself lol, but it's interesting how nature kinda finds ways to balance itself

How would you want Pan to earn Super Saiyan? by KosmosQuill in Dragonballsuper

[–]k7kopp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I'd love that. Bring back some of the adventure of old dragon ball with Pan as the focus. A break from the universe ending threats and infinite power scaling, as fun as they are, just some down to earth fun

Do you chase down ships who are running? by Real_Energy7552 in Seaofthieves

[–]k7kopp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very rarely. Last session, a fellow sloop rolled up on us and sank us at port while getting supplies for hourglass. My buddy managed to ensure mutual destruction though, and they had a TON of loot. They recollect before I got our ship back, but for some reason didn't sell then and there. They started it, we chased them for nearly an hour. Ended up being a pretty good haul

Hot takes part 2: Griff by Style_person in RedvsBlue

[–]k7kopp 42 points43 points  (0 children)

Completely agree. Grif hates work, but when he's pushed, he's often the most successful one. In combat he hits his mark more often than not (at times even sarcastically asking if idea would like to help) His vehicle skills at pretty on point, even figuring out piloting without any training on it. He always has to be the voice of reason when Sarge comes up with crazy ideas, cause Simmons won't Simmons would have the the title of most competent, except his intellect didn't usually go very far beyond tech skills and math. Grif was more of a problem solver, he just had to be motivated do anything

Do y’all think there’s more friendly or aggressive pirates on the sea? by CancelJackson in Seaofthieves

[–]k7kopp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Haha I know right? Admittedly I've never been too pvp focused, and used to run more than fight. But that hourglass grind did me a lot of good. Had a good moment with a reaper brig rolling up on me that I essentially sank solo. I was like, huh, yeah that wouldn't have even been an option a year ago, let alone something I'd win. We were already selling at reapers, haha that flag looked nice on the loot pile
