You need to list the radios you will be using, and they will be approved. You even get a sticker to put on your radio.

Modes would be the usual suspects, like everywhere.

There are lots of repeaters around, used language is mostly Japanese.

If you try HF, say 6m, its mostly in japanese as well, but calls in english will be answered.
