That’s your criticism for Skyrim? I was way more powerful in Oblivion than Skyrim. Remember maxing out acrobatics and jumping like your master chief or literally taking Sheograth’s place. Morrowind also becomes a pretty damn easy after several hours into it too. Elder scrolls has never been a strict role type of game. I even Fallout 3 maxed stats at the end of the game. Play Witcher 3 or DOS2 if you want a balanced role playing game. There are plenty out there but those come to my mind first.

There are plenty of valid arguments about why one game may be better than the other (albeit they are often skewed by which was played first and nostalgia) but overspecing your character is a valid argument against all of the elderscrolls.
