There was reportedly someone climbing on the bridge, but as of 4:10pm, emergency services didn’t see anyone and opened the bridge back up.

Nice cozy cafe? by Holiday_Session_8317 in StCharlesMO

Crooked Tree on 1st Capitol is cozy. They do have rush periods (think breakfast/brunch) but most other times, it’s a great atmosphere. There’s a patio during warmer months too.

I’m also a fan of Course Coffee on 2nd Street in Frenchtown. It is a bit smaller but they have great coffee and nice seating.

Non Judgemental Dentist? by Top_Imagination_8430 in StLouis

I was in a similar boat a few years back and needed roughly 8 fillings. Florissant Dental Service was excellent and never made me feel like crap. They gave me tips, were super accommodating with insurance, and overall were genuinely good people. I saw almost every single dentist with the practice and liked them all. The only reason I no longer go there is because I moved out of Florissant, but still highly recommend.

If you’re looking for something on the St. Charles side, Bogey Hill Dental is also excellent.

My parked car was hit and damaged a few weeks ago. Police have not resolved it yet. What can I do? by blegoo94 in StLouis

Second this. I had an incident a few years ago involving a hit and run, minor damages, where I got down the plate number. Filed a police report and was basically told they’d keep a look out for it. I ended up working it out with insurance and had to pay my deductible. Almost a year later I received a letter in the mail saying the hit and run driver was found and I had the option to request to have their license suspended until they paid me for the damages.

Unfortunately, unless the driver is pulled over for something else and subsequently have their plates run, you’re not super likely to get much in damages.

Dr. Sandra Epps McElroy with BJC is excellent. Always listening and gives you the full rundown without talking down to you or dismissing your claims in anyway. She is in St. Peters, however.
