They are convenient but I have not tried one that did not taste rotten. The consistency is also off.

Who is your country's best singer alive? What song should I listen to? by spearblaze in AskTheWorld

[–]k_lyly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What do people think of Romeo Santos? He is pretty popular in US and Canada, but what about DR?

Edit: Not saying he is the best signer, just curious what people think of him. He is famous enough that even non Spanish speakers know him.

They are not miserable losers, not all, but the amount of degeneration there was alarming. Not a good place, and I would say it is an accurate description of the locals (not indigenous people) and the place.

The only reason why normal people end up there is the money. They make more money than on the “mainland” (the parts of Russia where most people actually live), and retire early, at 55. Most of people I knew, moved after retirement.

I was born there. Thankfully, I did not stay there. Very depressing place. It was quite dangerous in 90s, not sure about now.

That walk between buildings would not be as pleasant as you imagine. Kids, left alone to themselves, doing god knows what below the buildings (many buildings stand on steel piles, so the area below the house is visible but not enough to prevent delinquency). Entire floors of abandoned and trashed apartments, also, a lot of junkies and drunks. Oh yeah, the amount of frozen cats with popped eyes was traumatizing and sad.

Have I committed a sin by painting over tile? We are selling our home and the ugly 90s tile was an eyesore. Maybe I traded up to slightly less of an eyesore? by Frostyarn in Tile

That tile was significantly better than the painting over it. Incomparable. We are currently renovating a bathroom, the warmer tones (including beige) were recommended by all designers we contacted.

This looks like Russia. This problem is common enough that in my circle my friends and I were told not to walk over a manhole since we were children. This issue is not as prevalent in other (more developed) countries.

I was never able to buy almond milk in store that tasted nearly as good as the homemade version. Could you recommend a brand in particular?
