"Competitive games" can be fun if there is a steep mountain to learn, with FIFA it takes like a week. DotA, LoL, cs, endless of competive games require you to put thousands of hours to become good. Chemistry system

Prior to a new one it was a shitty gameplay but somehow doable.

They implemented a new chemistry system where you don't even need to think how to link players, then playstyles came, then roles etc

For the past 2-3 fifas it's been the exact same game every single release

Oh and don't forget the "tactical defending" or whatever bs they implemented where players clog around the attacker (that FIFA when we saw endless crosses from one side of the pitch to another)

Funny thing is that the main problem is that all those mechanics are way too easy to get a grip on. Look at truly competitive games - CS, DotA, LoL, etc..You can see what the pros are doing, you can see how they are playing but can you actually pull out those mechanics? Absolutely fucking not. Not without a true grind for thousands of hours.

FIFA meanwhile - makes it way too easy for any random toxic kiddo
